New Year, New Horse

As 2025 comes to a close, I find myself feeling incredibly grateful—and honestly, a little amazed—at how much this year has held. What began as a goal scribbled in a notebook turned into something real, tangible, and deeply meaningful. This year marked the completion of my bodyworker certification, the launch of Double G Equine Bodywork, and the first steps of building a business rooted in care, education, and connection with horses and their people.

Earning my equine bodyworker certification was a major milestone. It required dedication, hands-on learning, and a deep commitment to understanding the horse’s body as a whole. Through this process, I gained not only technical skills, but also a greater appreciation for how movement, balance, and comfort directly impact a horse’s performance and well-being. That education became the foundation for everything that followed.

Starting Double G Equine Bodywork in 2025 was both exciting and reflective. Turning knowledge into a service meant stepping outside my comfort zone—creating a business identity, working with clients, and trusting my knowledge. Knowing that I am the “expert” is a hard concept for me because I feel there is so much more to learn. I’m eager to hone the skills I already have and expand my knowledge to continue to get as close to “expert” as I can. Every session reinforced why I started: helping horses feel better in their bodies and supporting owners in their care routines.

I’m incredibly thankful for the early clients who trusted me with their horses and supported this new venture from the beginning. Your encouragement, feedback, and referrals helped shape Double G Equine Bodywork into what it is today.

This year also brought a very special addition to my life—Dakota. Taking care of horses has been a true labor of love that was instilled in me from a young age. From building trust to learning his unique (and goofy) needs, he’s been a daily reminder of why I value thoughtful, individualized bodywork. He’s become both a partner and an inspiration, and I’m excited to continue growing alongside him.

As I look forward to the new year, my focus remains on continuing education, expanding services, and deepening relationships within the equine community. I’m excited to keep learning, refining my skills, and supporting more horses on their wellness journeys.

To celebrate the new year and say thank you, I’m offering a New Year Client Special:

Here’s to growth, healthy horses, and a strong start to the new year.
